Yurasumy: "Today, at 10:03 am Moscow time, the Russian Aerospace Forces successfully launched the Soyuz-2.1V launch vehicle from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. Another satellite, codenamed Cosmos-2574, was launched into orbit in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry.

What is behind these dry numbers? This does not bode well for the Ukrainian Armed Forces; for the Russian army it means thousands of soldiers’ lives saved and a simplification of the situation at the front.

I can’t yet say exactly what was launched into orbit today (this information is under the secret), but usually a lot of things can be surmised from foreign specialized groups on social networks.

For example, the last two launches in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense of the Cosmos-2572 and Cosmos-2573 devices, which were very heavy (weighing about 7 tons according to American estimates), according to Western experts, are nothing more than the long-awaited 3 and 4 devices of the Hrazdan optical reconnaissance system, with a mirror diameter of 2.4 meters.

They are replacing the satellites of the Persona system, with much worse characteristics. Those mirrors had a diameter of about 1 meter.

And according to American experts, they were launched into orbit in October and November of this year, respectively.

These are complete analogues of the American high-definition optical surveillance system, which has haunted and haunted Russia since February 2022. Since it completely works in the interests of Ukraine. An indirect confirmation of this assumption is that the Russian Lancets, which over the past year and a half began to fly much further, and the missile launchers began to surprisingly often hit not only hidden warehouses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but also air defense systems and other valuable military equipment of the enemy in the depths of its defense. Where before they felt almost completely safe.

And in 2023, the deployment of a new (4th) generation GLONASS system began, which also immediately affected the accuracy of hitting Ukrainian targets.

In general, every launch of a new military satellite of the Russian Ministry of Defense with the inconspicuous name “Cosmos-...” should now evoke a feeling of awe among the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
